SunDoctors is Australia’s leading specialist skin cancer network, dedicated exclusively to the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancer. With over 350,000 patients seen each year and involvement in the diagnosis of almost 20% of all melanomas nationwide, SunDoctors is a purpose-driven organisation at the forefront of delivering life-saving care.

We are partnering with Predictus Search to appoint a Regional Manager — a pivotal operational leadership role accountable for the performance and growth of a network of SunDoctors clinics within an assigned region. This is a hands-on, high-impact position that blends commercial leadership with a genuine commitment to patient outcomes, clinical excellence, and team development.

This role offers the opportunity to lead an established network while also playing a key role in expansion, including the onboarding and integration of newly acquired clinics — ensuring consistent standards, strong culture alignment, and operational success from day one.

The Opportunity

  • Lead the financial and operational performance of clinics within your assigned region, taking ownership of the regional P&L including budgeting, forecasting, and performance optimisation.
  • Drive patient access and revenue growth through effective rostering, consulting room utilisation, and resource planning to meet demand across clinics.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop Practice Managers, building high-performing teams through structured onboarding, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Establish trusted, collaborative relationships with doctors across the region, acting as a key escalation point and partnering with recruitment teams to attract and retain top clinical talent.
  • Support network growth by leading the onboarding and integration of newly acquired clinics, ensuring seamless transitions, strong team engagement, and alignment with SunDoctors’ operating standards.
  • Champion exceptional patient experience, ensuring feedback and complaints are addressed promptly and that every clinic delivers consistently high-quality care.
  • Ensure clinics meet RACGP, ISO, and all relevant compliance and accreditation requirements, maintaining audit readiness and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify growth opportunities, strengthen referral pathways, and build strategic external partnerships to support regional expansion.
  • Promote and integrate Southern Sun Pathology services across clinics to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.

About You

  • A proven leader with the ability to build, inspire, and develop high-performing clinical and administrative teams.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in healthcare, clinical services, or multi-site operational leadership.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience managing P&L, budgets, and financial performance.
  • Sound understanding of compliance and accreditation standards (RACGP, ISO, WHS).
  • A confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with doctors, frontline teams, and senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organised and data-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across geographically dispersed sites.
  • Passionate about healthcare, with a genuine commitment to patient safety, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

Why Join SunDoctors?

This is a unique opportunity to lead, influence, and grow a network of market-leading skin cancer clinics, while contributing to a mission that has a tangible impact on the health of Australians.

You will play a key role not only in operational excellence, but also in shaping the future footprint of the business through clinic expansion and acquisitions.

The role includes travel within the assigned region, with an expectation of being on-site across clinics approximately three to four days per week.
